Instructional Leadership Institutes
Mr. Vélez is the UCLA SMP Digital Media Coordinator. During off-site events, he is responsible for audio-visual and data planning and management. Here at UCLA, Mr. Vélez coordinates with UCLA SMP Faculty in the design and production of multimedia presentations. He also designs and maintains all of UCLA SMP’s databases, which are used for everything from event management and hotel logistics to contract management and client-school data analysis. Carlos is the co-editor, along with Judy Feldman, of Leading & Learning, UCLA SMP’s newsletter. He also works with the Development Team in the writing, proofing, and preparation of grants. Since 1995, Mr. Vélez has worked with the UCLA SMP Programs Team and the UCLA SMP Faculty, assisting with and meeting UCLA SMP’s technology needs. He is also a member of the UCLA SMP Technology Committee.
