Instructional Leadership Institutes
Ms. Manning is the UCLA SMP Events, Marketing & Technology (EMT) Team Leader. She works closely with the Executive Director and Director of Faculty in the execution of client contracts, oversees client events and activities, and guides UCLA SMP’s marketing efforts. Prior to joining UCLA SMP, Ms. Manning worked as a political campaign fund–raiser for various statewide and local political candidates. She also spent four years as an instructor for Capitol Focus (1992-1996), a political awareness program in Sacramento for California high school students. She is an active member of the UCLA Alumni Association, Rose Bowl Bruins, Bruin Caucus Council, and her neighborhood homeowners’ association. Ms. Manning holds a Certified Meeting Planner (CMP) designation through the nation’s Convention Industry Council, and graduated from UCLA’s Professional Development Program (PDP) in 2004. She is a 1992 graduate of UCLA, where she received her B.A. in history and political science.
