Instructional Leadership Institutes
Ms. Huidor is a Human Resources Coordinator for UCLA SMP. As the HR Coordinator, she negotiates and coordinates all UCLA and detached service contracts, as well as recruiting, hiring, and personnel issues. She is responsible for payroll and employee performance feedback procedures. As Team Leader for the Administration Team, she also oversees the work of our administrative support staff. She supports SMP’s efforts as a translator and interpreter and has worked with Spanish-speaking parents. Ofelia has held two Teaching Assistant positions and taught high school students in the Los Angeles Unified School District. She is a UCLA graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in History and Spanish Literature and has a Master’s Degree in Chicano/a Studies from CSU Los Angeles. She is currently pursuing her doctorate at UCLA in the field of Social Science and Comparative Education, with a concentration in Race and Ethnic Studies.
