Instructional Leadership Institutes
Ms. Nosrati is UCLA SMP’s Webmaster. Her responsibilities include the 2007 relaunch of SMP’s website. In 2007, she was nominated and won a UCLA SAAP Professional Development Award which will support her implementation of a PHP-based course registration application for the SMP website. Her relevant work experience spans web design, database design and database management. Her experience in the Internet industry includes working as an independent web designer. She has also worked at companies such as NBCi and Edmunds.com where her roles included performing site metrics analysis and creating a company-wide knowledge base / intranet using Confluence and tWiki, Wiki-based collaboration platforms. Prior to entering the Internet industry in 1995, she was a Senior Analyst at Keyser Marston Associates (KMA), a real estate consulting firm. Prior to her position at KMA, she interned at Barton-Aschman Associates, a transportation planning firm where she helped create a GIS for the State of Nevada. Ms. Nosrati completed her undergraduate and graduate studies in History and Urban Planning at UCLA. She is active in the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
